Ever feel like your phone has too much pull over your attention? In this episode, I share a simple but powerful habit that transformed the way I interact with my phone. Switching to grayscale. What started as a short experiment turned into a game-changer, helping me break unconscious scrolling habits and see the beauty of life beyond my screen. Two years ago, what started as a jarring, one-afternoon experiment quickly turned into a full week. Without the usual flood of colour, my screen lost its grip on me. I picked it up out of habit, but quickly set it down. The less I looked at it, the more I noticed the world around me, vibrant, alive, full of detail I’d been missing. It was like God had turned up the saturation everywhere else.
I know it might feel weird at first, kind of like drinking coffee without milk or sugar for the first time. But here’s the thing: you’re not giving up your phone, you’re just seeing it differently. And who knows? Maybe, by turning down the digital colours, you’ll start turning up your appreciation for something else. I
